DESCRIPTION

This improv class aims to cover the fundamentals of improv. Whether you're just getting started or want a refresher after some time away from improv, Improv Foundations is the class for you. (If you've never taken an improv class before, we strongly suggest starting with our Intro to Improv class.)

In Improv Foundations, the goal is to understand what makes an improv work and to be able to diagnose for yourself why a scene might have gone sideways. The focus is on being able to apply the craft of improv while remaining playful and having a laugh.

We will cover:

  • Stories
  • Characters
  • Scene starts
  • Collaboration
  • Active listening
  • And more!
