An easy introduction to improv for those who have never done it before. Everything is done online from the convenience and safety of your own home (or anywhere else you want to be!). ZERO experience needed, in fact, that's even better!

Learn how to: say yes to ideas, listen carefully, and tell hilarious stories. Get out of your comfort zone, meet new people and have a laugh from start to finish, all with an experienced teacher who wants you to succeed.


Vinny Francois has nearly 25 years of experience as a professional improviser in both English and French and is an award-winning instructor, specializing in unscripted narratives. He is the director of Improv College and Camp Zipzap, a weekend improv camp for adults. He has been published in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and is currently a writer at The Beaverton, a Canadian satire site. He lives in Tio'tia:ke / Montreal.

Two scholarship spots are reserved in each class at Improv College for members of equity-seeking communities on a first-come, first-served basis. To claim a spot in this class, simply select the Equity-Seeking option from the Registration drop-down menu. No application required.


To address the fact that different people have different purchasing power, several spots are reserved for students in Middle- and Low-Income situations. They may register at a lowered price. Simply select the Middle- and Low-Income option from the Registration drop-down menu.
