In improv, we often hear: "Get into trouble. Fall in love," — Well, you'll definitely be doing a lot of that in this improvised romantic comedy course!
In this 10-week course, you'll apply what you've learned in four online shows (streamed on YouTube) where you will improvise a Romantic Comedy on the spot.
It's important to note that while we will be inspired by classic RomCom tropes, this course encourages us to play with and break outdated stereotypes around gender that may often be portrayed in these materials.
Inspired by classic and modern romcoms, here you'll swoon, sigh, and surprise yourself when you learn how to improvise a hilarious romance story. Learn how to:
- Improvise the Meet Cute
- Play endearingly charming lead characters, campy villains, wise family members, or the sassy sidekick
- Explore and experiment with RomCom tropes
- Create awww-worthy romantic relationships
- Play in the spaces between hilarious and heartfelt
Come join us as we lean into our cheesy side, get a little cheeky, and make up some feel-good stories about how love is all we need. ❤️
If you choose the Installment payment option, your second payment will be due Nov 15, 2023.
